Itinerant Tour in the Silvretta Alps – Spring Ski Mountaineering Paradise

A touring ski mountaineering adventure between Switzerland and Austria in the heart of the spring ski mountaineering paradise! This tour takes place entirely at high altitude, staying in cozy mountain huts and summiting the most iconic peaks.

The Silvretta Alps are one of the most renowned ski mountaineering destinations in the Alps, a must for any ski mountaineer’s experience. Situated between Austria and Switzerland, this alpine paradise is famous for its gentle yet spectacular terrain, perfect for both experienced ski mountaineers and intermediate skiers looking to improve their skills.

With high-altitude glaciers, well-equipped huts, and breathtaking panoramas, the Silvretta offers the perfect balance between challenging ascents and thrilling descents. Each day of this hut-to-hut tour is an opportunity to explore new valleys, passes, glaciers, and the sharp peaks that surround them.

Our 4-day itinerant ski mountaineering program in the Silvretta is designed for enthusiasts seeking a true adventure, far from the crowds, infrastructure, and ski lifts. Each day also includes technical training, developing aspects of spring ski mountaineering: ascent and descent techniques, avalanche self-rescue, and crevasse rescue.

The daily ascents are suitable for skiers with good physical fitness and basic ski mountaineering experience, while still offering exciting descents for more advanced ski mountaineers. Towering peaks and glaciers make this Silvretta adventure the perfect mix of adventure, comfort, and unforgettable alpine scenery—all naturally, without the use of ski lifts. It’s a fantastic way to explore these mountains at their most elegant in the spring season.
