The Gamma 1 via ferrata ascends the impressive rock bastion of Pizzo d’Erna.
Just a few minutes from Lecco, this route leads to the summit of Resegone. While it is not technically demanding, it is long and exceptionally scenic, offering uninterrupted views of Lake Como and the surrounding lakes of Brianza. Gamma 1 provides excellent training close to home for experienced climbers, and a spectacular, accessible introduction to the mountains for beginners. Despite its easy alpine grade, the route is exposed and reaches significant heights along the way.
From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of the Resegone chimneys, where other via ferratas and hiking trails begin. The descent can be made via trail or cable car (ticket €7.50).
