  • What to bring in your backpack: overview of equipment and accessories, including helmet, harness, via ferrata kit, etc.

  • Setting up via ferratas: anchors, cables, and other fixed aids

  • Safety precautions

  • Climbing techniques

  • Correct progression techniques

  • Proper clipping methods

  • Tips and tricks from experienced guides

  • Climbing tactics

  • Managing teammates and the presence of other climbers

  • Assisting companions

  • Emergency management

Location: via ferratas in the provinces of Lecco and Sondrio

Duration: 3 days Season: spring and autumn

Prerequisites: hiking experience; not prone to vertigo; accustomed to 5 hours of aerobic activity

Required equipment: helmet, harness, via ferrata kit, and gloves. Equipment rental is available.

The fee includes: logistical organization, instruction, and accompaniment by a Mountain Guide; use of shared safety equipment.

The fee does not include: transfers, lifts, meals, accommodation for the Mountain Guide, and anything not specified under “the fee includes.”
